Baipariguda: A. Shiva Murthy Reddy has joined as the Probationary IPS Officer at Baipariguda Police Station. After being appointed to the police department three months ago, he spent one month in Bhubaneswar and then underwent two months of training under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police in Koraput district. Today, he has officially been assigned responsibilities as the Probationary IPS Officer in Baipariguda.
While training under the Superintendent of Police in Koraput, Reddy learned about the Baipariguda region, which motivated him to take up his posting there. In an interview with journalists today, he stated that his key focus areas would include curbing illegal cannabis cultivation and smuggling, addressing traffic issues, enforcing stricter vehicle inspections to reduce accidents, preventing theft, and working towards making the youth society free from drug addiction.
He also expressed his commitment to fulfilling his duties diligently in Baipariguda, which is both a Naxal-affected and sensitive area. Reddy emphasized that working closely with the people and maintaining peace and order in the Baipariguda region would be his top priorities
