Nabarangpur, Dec, 04: This year, 50,919 farmers have registered to sell paddy in the Kharif mandi. This is an increase of 8,109 farmers compared to last year. However, the large increase in farmer registrations this year has raised questions about why so many more farmers have come forward. On the positive side, it indicates that the number of farmers in the state has increased.
According to the registration carried out by the SHG group, compared to last year, 8,234 farmers increased in the Lampas area, and 626 in the Pani Panchayat, while 751 farmers decreased.
