Boudh, Jan, 20:  On the second evening of the 7th Khadang Lok Mahotsav, organised on the banks of the Khadang River at Bandhagora under Khuntigora Panchayat of Kantamal block, cultural programmes were presented by local artists and the Maa Nakeishuni Chaiti Ghoda Nach troupe from Bargarh district.

Later, the “Ravan Darbar” programme was staged by artists from Barach Chichinda.
In the Darbar, Phiringia Block Vice-Chairman Ajit Kumar Sahu attended as the royal chief guest, while advocate Manoj Sharma was present as the chief speaker. He said that stage performances are not merely for entertainment but also convey important social messages.
Former Zilla Parishad member of Barkhama Chandrama Kahanra, businessman Jyotishankar Sahu, social worker Premraj Rana, Garuda Vibhag representative Anukul Rana, Sheshadev Rana and others were present as honoured guests.

Sushant Barik introduced the guests. Khadang Mahotsav Committee President Manoj Das presided over the meeting, and member Banshidhar Majhi proposed the vote of thanks.

Odisha television actress Payal participated as a guest artist and won the hearts of the audience with her dialogues and dance performances.

Later, the drama “Sitachori” was staged. Senior stage artist Sushil Kumar Meher mesmerised the audience with his brilliant performance in the role of Ravana.
