Koraput, Dec, 16: The Koraput District Police celebrated the 63rd Home Guard Day at the local police grounds. Rohit Kumar Verma, District Police Officer of Koraput, attended as the chief guest, received the parade salute, and later delivered a message on this occasion along with senior officials, including the President, Chief Minister, Home Guard DG, and other dignitaries.
During the event, emphasis was laid on the importance of this day, and the celebrations were conducted with enthusiasm. The significance of the Home Guards’ role in society was highlighted. It was noted that at various times, Home Guards assist and cooperate with the police, and their contributions were appreciated and recognized during the event.
