600 New E-Buses to Be Introduced for Public Transport

Bhubaneswar, 9th Sept 2025:  E-buses will soon be rolled out across the state. The government is planning to expand e-bus operations to enhance environmental protection. The Urban Development Minister has announced that the state government will procure 200 e-buses. The Prime Minister will also provide 400 e-buses to Odisha. In total, 600 e-buses will serve the public. Currently, 25 e-buses are arriving, which will be allocated to Sambalpur. The Urban Development Minister also stated that other districts will soon receive e-buses under this initiative.
