Jeypore: Dec, 22: The friends’ reunion of the 1981 Matric batch of Government Boys’ High School, Jeypore has been organized every year for the past 44 years, traditionally on the second Sunday of December.
This year, the annual reunion was held at the Devi shrine located beside the idol of Lord Hanuman near the Kolab Power Generation Centre at Mundiguda. Alumni from distant places such as Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, as well as nearby regions, participated in the gathering. More than one hundred former classmates attended the event.
All participants came together with great enthusiasm and camaraderie. A silent prayer was offered in memory of departed classmates Deepak Choudhury and Ramnath Mishra, after which everyone fondly reminisced about their shared memories from the past.
