Nandapur, Jan, 20: The entrance examination for admission into Class VI, VII, VIII and IX of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (OAV) was conducted on Friday at two examination centres in Nandapur block of Koraput district.
A total of 371 candidates appeared for the examination at the two centres.
At the Nandapur High School examination centre, out of 134 candidates registered for Class VI, 120 candidates appeared.
For Class VII, out of 11 registered candidates, 9 appeared.
For Class VIII, 4 candidates appeared, and for Class IX, 1 candidate appeared.
At the Adarsha Vidyalaya, Ganinayakput examination centre, only Class VI candidates were registered. Out of 253 registered candidates, 237 candidates appeared for the examination.
The examination centres were managed by Nandapur High School Headmistress Anjulata Garada and OAV Chairman Nanda Khara.
The process was supervised by Block Assistant Education Officer Mamataj Gomang.
