Bhubaneswar, 22nd Aug 2025: A total of 22,896 Group C positions across 10 departments of the state government are set to be filled very soon. The Chief Secretary has directed that vacant positions be completed through direct recruitment by August 31.
School & Mass Education Department: 8,358 positions
Panchayati Raj Department: 4,042 positions
Health Department: 3,677 positions
Across all 10 departments, there are a total of 44,909 vacant Group C posts, out of which 22,896 posts will be filled as per the directive.
