Nabarangpur, 23rd Oct 2025: The +2 (Arts and Science) Higher Secondary School was officially inaugurated today at the Government High School in Kantamal, located in Papadahandi Block of Nabarangpur district.
At the grand inauguration ceremony, Additional Cluster Education Officer Purnachandra Pujari attended as the chief guest. Among other distinguished guests were Balak Das Randhari, Headmaster Bidyadhar Sahu, along with all teachers and staff of the school.
The people of Kantamal and surrounding areas expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for establishing a new college offering both Arts and Science streams in the locality.
Previously, students in this region, after completing their matriculation, had to travel to distant areas for +2 education, which led to significant inconvenience. Due to travel difficulties, many students were forced to drop out and remain unemployed at home.
With the opening of the +2 college in Kantamal, it is believed these challenges will be resolved. No student will have to abandon their education midway, and more students will be able to continue their studies without facing obstacles.
