Nabarangpur A condolence meeting and memory sharing was held on the occasion of the demise of two friends from the 1988 Metric batch. Many friends recalled several memories and expressed their feelings in their speeches and paid deep tributes. The families of the departed souls were also present at the condolence meeting. They were assured that if they require any kind of assistance in the future, the 1988 Metric batch of Baten will always stand by them.
Among those present in the condolence meeting were Sanamug Patra, U Arun Kumar, Suresh Patnaik, Ajit Rath, Bibhu Lenka, Budu Mahapatra, Ghasiram Nayak, Himanshu Tripathy, Shyam Ghan Nayak, Bishnu Gupta, Kapil Maharana, Manoj Patnaik, Jyoti Paricha, SK Sameer, K Naveen, Suresh Patra, SK Nazir, Ravi Kumar, Krus Amanatya, Domu Bhatra, and others.
In Nabarangpur, recently two former students of the 1988 Metric batch of Raja Chaitanya Dev High School passed away. The two were Durjyodhan Soura, who was serving in the State Police Service, and GBV Subramaniam, who was working at LDM Bank. A condolence and memory meeting in their honor was held at the local Gobindalaya institution’s assembly hall.
The meeting was chaired by Rakesh Gumpha. It began with lighting of lamps and floral offerings in front of the photographs of the two departed souls, commemorating the time spent with these two departed friends
