183 Students Take Part in Sambad Annual Competition

Indravati,9th Sept 2025: On behalf of Sambad and Ama Odisha, a competition on drawing, Odia handwriting, and language knowledge was organized at Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center located in Khatiguda of Tentulikhunti Block. The chief guest of the event was Shri Santosh Kumar Gahan, Head of Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center. The honored guest was senior journalist Pruthviraj Paikaray, and among other guests were Swarnalata Mahankuda, President of Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center, journalists Maheswar Mahanti and Kripanidhi Raut. Sambad founder Soumyaranjan Pattnaik also praised the program.

A total of 183 students participated in this competition. In the drawing competition, Sehijad Khan, a fifth-grade student of Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center, secured first place; Shibangi Pati, a first-grade student, came second; and Adipta Jena, a third-grade student, secured third place.

In the handwriting competition, Purti Nayak, an eighth-grade student of Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, won first place; Pushpanjali Majhi, a seventh-grade student of Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center, secured second place; and Tejeshwari Setty, an eighth-grade student of Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, came third.

Similarly, in the language knowledge competition, Ayushi Tripathy, a tenth-grade student of Shri Aravind Purnang Education Center, secured first place; Shraddha Suman Nayak came second; and Chinmayi Priyadarshini came third.

The event was conducted by Indravati correspondent L. Santosh Rao. The program received support from Pushpalata Mahanti, Ashok Kumar Jena, Dhiren Kumar Mishra, Kiran Kumar Mishra, Nirupama Sahu, Bhagat Soura, Minati Nayak, Hemant Kumar Nayak, Hrushikesh Sahu, Mamata Sukri, Landa Behera, Anadi Harijan, Deeptimayi Bhakta, Kailash Chandra Jena, Ladipa Simran, Ritika Haldhar, Bisesh Kumar Sahu, Bibhun Nayak, Hemabati Santa, Sameer Harijan, Ilena Nayak, Dashrath Bagh, Samita Parida, Gourachandra Nayak, Sunil Harijan, Jyotirmayi Mahanti, Lipika Majhi, Chandrika Pujari, Manu Takri, Yugna Senapati, Pushpendra Kumar Sahu, Ashutosh Bishwal, Dipali Kandh, and Dayan Chand Rana.
