Kalahandi, March, 3: A “Sri Sri Sixteen-Prahar Akhanda Nama Yajna” and Sri Ram Navami celebration are being organized for world peace under the auspices of the Radha-Krishna Temple Committee at Gandhigram Pada under Jayapatna Block in Kalahandi district.
The Kalasha Yatra was held on the 26th. The chanting of the divine names began on the morning of the 27th and will conclude on the morning of the 1st.
The Nama Yajna Committee includes President Shubhranshu Sahu, Vice Presidents Kailash Chandra Sahu, Satya Narayan Raut and Jagamohan Pattnaik, General Secretary Gaurachandra Sahu, Joint Secretaries Manoranjan Raut and Chittaranjan Sahu, Treasurer Biranchi Kharsel, and member Bikash Ranjan Sahu. Members of the advisory committee are also extending their support.
Arrangements have been made for serving Mahaprasad (community feast) to all devotees participating in the Nama Yajna. The continuous chanting of the Lord’s divine name has created a deeply devotional atmosphere in the area.
