Dhusuri, Jan, 03: The 15th Annual Sports Festival of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, located at Dhusuri in Dhamnagar Block, was held successfully. The inaugural ceremony was conducted under the chairmanship of the school president Ranjan Kumar Bhuyan.
The Officer-in-Charge of Dhusuri Police Station, Ajay Sud Sudarshan Bag, attended the function as the chief guest, while educationist Nirod Kumar Behera was present as the key speaker. Dhusuri Sarpanch Antaryami Pati joined the event as the guest of honor. The speakers guided the students by emphasizing that sports and education are inseparably connected.
The Headmaster Ramapadarana delivered the welcome address and introduced the guests. The Secretary of the Vidyut Parishad, Satyabrata Mishra, offered the vote of thanks.
Among others present on the dais were School Secretary Ramamohan Gupta, Treasurer and educationist Purnachandra Nayak, member Satyabrata Barik, and Vidyut Parishad member Banamali Mishra.
A total of 250 students (brothers and sisters) participated in various sports events.
