Malkangiri, 29th Sept 2025: The OTET (Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test) was conducted today across Malkangiri district. As per the schedule issued by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Cuttack, the exam was organized at 5 centers in the district.
One of the main centers was Jagannath A.E.L. High School, Malkangiri.
A total of 1,449 teachers from all blocks of the district appeared for the exam at these 5 centers. As per available data, 1,519 candidates had applied, but 70 candidates were absent on the exam day.
Observers were deployed at all exam centers by the district administration and the district education department to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.
The exam was successfully organized under the direct supervision of District Education Officer Chitta Ranjan Panigrahi and the Additional District Education Officer.
