Nabarangpur, Jan 30:: The 129th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was celebrated today near the Axis Bank premises in Nabarangpur. Floral tributes and ceremonial prayers were offered at the statue of Netaji to mark the occasion.

District Collector Dr. Maheshwar Swain attended the program as the Chief Guest, while Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Bishwajit Barman graced the event as the Guest of Honour. They described Netaji as an immortal son of India, a great freedom fighter, a courageous and determined leader, a true mass leader, and a symbol of patriotism. They stated that even today, Netaji continues to inspire the younger generation and motivates them to serve the nation with dedication and commitment.
Students and teachers from Board Upper Primary School and Saraswati Gyan Mandir gathered on the occasion, raised slogans in praise of Netaji, and discussed his life, famous slogans, and his significant role in the armed freedom struggle.

The program was conducted under the supervision of District Information and Public Relations Officer Manoj Behera. DWO Rabindra Palaka, DPEO Prabhat Pattnaik, other government officials, and media representatives were also present at the event.
