The Rani Fund and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Curate a Special Screening of Haq, Bridging Law, Cinema, and Dialogue
The Rani Fund and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. collaborated and hosted a special screening of Haq on December 12th at PVR Director’s Cut, Vasant Kunj, bringing together cinema and conversation on issues that demand reflection and empathy.
Founded by Ms. Nayana Bijli, Lead Distribution and Licensing, PVR INOX Limited, The Rani Fund is envisioned as a platform that uses storytelling to spark meaningful dialogue around socially relevant issues. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas is one of India’s premier and largest law firms. The collaboration reflected a shared belief in the power of cinema to open conversations around justice, dignity, and lived realities.
The evening was made possible with the support and partnership of Times Now Network and Junglee Pictures, the producers of the film.
The screening brought together 70+ senior members of Delhi’s legal community, including Mrs. Pallavi Shroff, Mr. Shardul Shroff, Ms. Shweta Shroff, Ms. Shally Bhasin along with notable Judges, senior advocates from the Supreme Court and various High Courts, as well as in-house legal counsels. The audience watched the film in attentive silence, deeply moved by its themes of identity, resilience, and the human stories behind the law. Many attendees noted that the film sparked meaningful conversations and offered fresh perspectives on social and legal issues.
