The Premia Academy Hosts ‘Maitri 2025’ City Schools Forge Futures Through Global Art and Culture Fiesta
Hyderabad, 22nd October, 2025: The Premia Academy vibrated with energy and color on October 17, 2025, as it successfully hosted Maitri 2025 an Art, Literary, and Cultural Fiesta. Over 300 students from various schools across the city participated, dedicating their collective creative efforts to the theme “Forging Futures, One Step at a Time.” This major event provided a vibrant, global stage for young talents to demonstrate their creativity, collaboration, and confidence through diverse artistic and literary expressions.

The festival featured over 20 vibrant competitions across art, literature, music, dance, and theatre, fostering cultural understanding and imagination. Key events included Tales Across Borders, Icons in the Spotlight, Festive Footsteps, Through the Reporter’s Eye, and Global Beats, Meaningful Moves. Each participating school adopted a different country, transforming The Premia Academy campus into a lively global village celebrating diversity, innovation, and friendship.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Simrat Kaur, a celebrated trailblazer in art, film, and fashion. Known for her Gold Medal in Fine Arts and her impactful work in VFX on major films like Life of Pi and The Mummy, and currently leading The Kaftan Company, Ms. Kaur inspired students with her journey in artistic excellence and innovation. An esteemed panel of judges from diverse creative fields evaluated the performances, recognizing originality and cultural representation with prizes across multiple categories.
Maitri 2025 goes beyond typical school competitions; it is an initiative designed to encourage students to discover the world through art and build friendships that transcend school boundaries. Participants noted the event was “a stage that encouraged us to discover the world through art” and “an experience that built confidence and friendships beyond schools.” The festival underscores The Premia Academy’s commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence, but also global citizenship and emotional intelligence through creative expression.
