Hyderabad, Mar 09: The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Hyderabad (IHM-Hyderabad), a premier Central Government institute under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced the commencement of admissions for the academic year 2026–27.

Admissions are now open for the flagship three-year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a subject are eligible to apply. Those appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply, no age bar. The B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programme prepares students for supervisory and managerial roles in hotels, airlines, cruise lines, QSR brands, and global hospitality companies. It also offers opportunities in entrepreneurship, corporate and facility management, FMCG and HORECA sales, and government sectors including tourism, railways, banking, the Armed Forces, and academia.
In addition, the institute offers the Craftsmanship Course in Food Production & Patisserie (CFPP), a skill-oriented programme focused on culinary arts, bakery, and confectionery. Candidates who have passed 10th or equivalent examination are eligible to apply.
Admissions are also open for the Craftsmanship Course in Food & Beverage Service, designed to build expertise in restaurant operations, beverage service, and guest relations. A pass in 10th or equivalent examination is required for admission.
For aspiring beverage professionals, the Short-Term Certificate Course in Bartending provides training in mixology, bar operations, beverage knowledge, flair techniques, and responsible service practices. Applicants must have completed 10th standard and meet the legal age requirements as per state regulations.
There is no age limit for, Craftsmanship Course in Food Production & Patisserie; Craftsmanship Course in Food & Beverage Service and Short-Term Certificate Course in Bartending.
