Mohali, Mar 25: Hartek Foundation, the CSR arm of the Hartek Group, has inaugurated its second Hartek Skill Lab at M.L. Puri School of Eminence, Mullanpur, Garibdass, reinforcing its commitment to advancing experiential STEM education among school students. This marks the second lab under the Hartek Skill Lab initiative, following the successful launch of the first lab in February 2026 at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Kharar, which has also been benefiting more than 1,200 students through experiential STEM education.

The Hartek Skill Lab is designed to promote hands-on learning and scientific exploration through interactive STEM models and activities. With the launch of its second lab, Hartek Foundation continues to expand its efforts to enhance STEM education and foster future-ready skills among students. Collectively, the initiative is now impacting over 2,500 students from underprivileged backgrounds, contributing to the broader goal of strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem.
The initiative focuses on strengthening STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education by encouraging curiosity, innovation, and critical thinking among students from classes starting with 6. By providing access to engaging learning tools and interactive models, the lab aims to nurture scientific aptitude and inspire students to pursue future careers in science and technology.
Speaking on the same, Harkirat Kaur, CEO, Hartek Foundation said,
“We believe that true learning happens when students gain hands-on experience and actively engage with scientific concepts rather than only reading about them. Through the Hartek Skill Labs, we aim to create an environment where curiosity drives discovery and students develop the confidence to question, innovate and solve real-world problems. By bringing experiential STEM learning to schools like M.L.Puri School of Eminence, Mullanpur,Garibdass, we hope to nurture a generation of young thinkers and problem-solvers.”
