Unique Wedding Ceremony Held at Shobhaniya Child Care Centre, Turning Institutional Campus into a Heartwarming Celebration of Social Inclusion

Cuttack, May 21: Under the International Shobhaniya Movement, a wedding ceremony was organized for Pinki, an orphan girl who grew up at the Devashishu–Shobhaniya Child Care Centre located in Bidanasi, Cuttack, established by revered Kumar Bhai. She was married to Papun in a ceremony conducted under the supervision of the Centre’s Director, Dr. Arundhati Devi.

On behalf of the organization, Dr. Subodh Kumar Rautray performed the traditional “Kanyadaan” ceremony. The newlywed couple received blessings from MLA Eng. Sophia Firdous, Maa Sharada Devi, CWC Chairman Manas Ranjan Biswal, member and advocate Mandakini Jaima, Pragati Mahanti, educationist Bijay Kumar Nath, social workers Muna Jain and Pradeep Jena, Eng. Dayanidhi Raut, social scientist Nirakar Beura, Professor Indramani Nayak, Advocate Geetanjali Behura, Butu Babu, Rabindra Behera, and several other distinguished guests.

Senior members of the movement including Minati Devi, Urmila Guruma, Manorama Devi, Barada Devi, Mamata Guruma, Kedarlakshmi Das, and Jyotimayee Mahanti extended their support in organizing the event.
