Suresh Pujari Chairs High-Level Review Meeting to Expedite Disposal of Long-Pending Revenue Cases Across Odisha

Bhubaneswar, May 13:  A review meeting was held at the Board of Revenue premises under the chairmanship of Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari to ensure the speedy hearing and disposal of thousands of revenue cases that have been pending across the state for a long time. During the meeting, officials were directed to adopt a time-bound approach for resolving cases and to strengthen coordination between district-level revenue offices and the Board of Revenue.
The Minister emphasized that unnecessary delays in revenue case disposal create hardships for the common people, particularly in matters related to land records, mutation, tenancy disputes, and issuance of certificates. He instructed officials to prioritize old and long-pending cases and ensure transparency and accountability in the hearing process.
Senior revenue department officials, district collectors, and Board of Revenue representatives participated in the review meeting and discussed various measures for improving administrative efficiency. The Minister also stressed the use of digital systems and regular monitoring mechanisms to accelerate the disposal process and provide timely justice to the public.
