Summer Vacation Advanced from April 27 as Authorities Respond to Rising Heatwave Conditions

Bhubaneswar, April. 25:  The Chief Minister has announced early summer vacation starting from April 27. All government, government-aided, and private schools will remain closed from this date.
The decision has been taken in view of the intense heatwave conditions. Keeping the safety of children in mind, the Chief Minister approved the proposal submitted by the School and Mass Education Department.
However, pre-scheduled examinations, census work, and other official duties will continue as planned.
