State Selection Board Releases Schedule for PG Entrance Examination

Bhubaneswar,  April 10: PG entrance exams to be held from May 5 to May 16
The Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) will begin on May 5, 2026, and continue until May 16, 2026. The schedule has been officially released by the State Selection Board (SSB).
The entrance examination will be conducted for 50 postgraduate subjects. Each day, the exam will be held in two shifts:
First shift: 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM
Second shift: 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM
On the first day (May 5), exams will be conducted for subjects such as Commerce, Biotechnology, Sociology, Environmental Science, Education, and Anthropology (Arts).
A total of 58,708 students have applied for 31,915 PG seats.

According to the Higher Education Department, selection for postgraduate courses will be based on CPET entrance exam marks.
