Nabarangpur, :June 11:  As per the directions of the Election Commission, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) work underway in Nabarangpur district is progressing rapidly. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are visiting households across various assembly constituencies in the district and distributing enumeration forms to voters.

So far, enumeration forms have reached 5,95,907 voters in the district, which accounts for 69.42 percent of the total electorate.
According to official information, enumeration form distribution has covered:
66 percent in Umerkote Assembly Constituency,
74 percent in Jharigaon Assembly Constituency,
71 percent in Nabarangpur Assembly Constituency, and
68 percent in Dabugaon Assembly Constituency.
With the objective of preparing a clean and error-free electoral roll, BLOs are not only distributing the forms but are also guiding voters on how to fill them correctly. After the forms are completed, they are being collected and acknowledgment receipts are being issued to the voters.
To further speed up the process, Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers are conducting daily field visits. Under the supervision of District Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Maheshwar Swain, Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Biswajit Chandra Barman and Deputy Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra are monitoring the work of BLOs and supervisors.
The District Collector has appealed to all eligible voters in the district to cooperate in this important revision process and contribute towards the preparation of an accurate voter list.
