Shri Dilip Sanghani Inaugurates IFFCO Nanoventions Innovation Hub in Coimbatore, Boosting Sustainable Agricultural Research
Coimbatore, Dec 20: In a significant step towards advancing agricultural research and sustainable farming practices, Shri Dilip Sanghani inaugurated the state-of-the-art IFFCO–Nanoventions In ovation Hub at the IFFCO–Nanoventions (IFFCO-NVPL) Research Centre in Coimbatore.

Shri Sanghani, Chairman of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited (GUJCOMASOL), and Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), reviewed ongoing research and development activities at the centre and interacted with scientists and research teams. He appreciated the innovative work and scientific excellence at IFFCO–Nanoventions, highlighting its critical role in building sustainable and resilient agricultural practices for the future.
During the visit, Shri Sanghani was briefed on DharAmrut Gold, a new silicon-based natural fertiliser developed by IFFCO–Nanoventions. This product improves soil structure, enhances moisture retention, and increases crop tolerance to droughts and high temperatures, providing farmers with a sustainable alternative to conventional chemical fertilisers.
Shri Sanghani emphasized the importance of the “Prosperity through Cooperation” vision advocated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Union Minister for Home Affairs and Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, and encouraged officials and scientists to promote IFFCO Nano Fertilisers and products like DharAmrut Gold for improving soil health and environmental protection.
He also urged the acceleration of research efforts, ensuring the availability of high-quality, nutrient-efficient products for farmers, which is vital for enhancing crop productivity and farmers’ incomes.
The inauguration was attended by senior leadership from IFFCO, including Shri K.J. Patel, Managing Director; Shri Birinder Singh, Director (CRS); Dr. A. Lakshmanan, Managing Director, IFFCO–Nanoventions; Shri P.K. Singh, Head, IFFCO Kalol Nano Plant; along with State Marketing Managers, Directors, and senior officials from IFFCO Headquarters.
The event reaffirmed IFFCO’s commitment to innovation, agricultural research, and sustainable farming practices, reinforcing the cooperative movement’s role in supporting Indian farmers.
