Greater Noida, Dec 24: In a major milestone for India’s digital healthcare journey, Sharda Hospital has become North India’s first medical hospital to go fully paperless. Powered by Presco’s Paperless IPD platform, the transition marks a decisive shift toward faster, safer, and more patient-centric care delivery, while setting new standards for efficiency and sustainability in large tertiary hospitals.

The fully digital ecosystem strengthens Sharda’s leadership in medical education by enabling real-time access to clinical data and modern digital workflows. This provides medical students with hands-on exposure to future-ready hospital systems, seamlessly bridging academic learning with real-world clinical practice. The initiative aligns with the Honourable Prime Minister’s Digital Health Mission and significantly reduces environmental impact by eliminating paper-based processes, saving millions of sheets annually, and improving audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and preparedness for national digital health programmes.
