Kotpad, May 26: Due to the impact of the Kalbaishakhi storm, several areas of Kotpad block witnessed heavy rainfall and strong winds, causing significant damage. Large trees reportedly fell on houses in different places, leading to property loss and disruption. Rescue and clearing operations were promptly carried out by the Kotpad Fire Services Department.
The sudden storm affected normal life in many parts of the block, with roads temporarily blocked due to uprooted trees. Fire service personnel worked tirelessly to remove fallen trees and restore connectivity in the affected areas.
