Revenue Minister Directs Speedy Disposal of All Unregularized Land Cases Across the State

Bhubaneswar, May 14:  Revenue Minister directs speedy settlement of all unregularized land cases; action to be taken against encroachment on government land.
Out of nearly 38,000 acres of unregularized land pending from last year, settlement cases for around 7,000 acres have been resolved and recorded in favour of rightful occupants. In this context, the Minister has directed officials to expedite the settlement process of pending cases in districts such as Cuttack, Puri, Bhadrak, Balangir, and Jagatsinghpur, and to issue land pattas to eligible beneficiaries at the earliest.
The Minister also emphasized strict vigilance against illegal occupation of government land and warned that legal action would be taken against encroachers. Officials have been instructed to ensure transparency and timely disposal of land settlement cases for the benefit of genuine landholders.
