Preparatory Meeting Held in Kakatpur for Maa Mangala’s Jhamu Yatra

Kakatpur,March, 11: Extensive preparations have been made by the administration for the annual Chaitra month festival of Ma Mangala in Kakatpur. To coordinate this, a preparatory meeting was held at the office of the local Mangala Temple Trust.

The meeting was chaired by Temple Executive Officer Kailash Chandra Dash and attended by Mangala Temple trustees, local Tahsildar Ankita Anandita, Kakatpur Police Officer Basant Kumar Sahu, Champahaar Fire Officer Bichitra Kumar Choudhury, Junior Engineer of the Public Works Department Jyotishree Senapati, Kakatpur Police ASI Jayanti Sahu, Trust service appointment chairman Manoranjan Panda, Vice-Chairman Kamal Lochan Dikshit, Advisory Committee Member Tushar Ranjan Dikshit, Temple Policy Commission Ravindra Jena, Temple Priest Suresh Chandra Tripathi, Pujapanda Sarat Chandra Dikshit, Hemant Kumar Padhi, along with all other temple staff, Palia Sevaks, and media representatives.

During the festival, Ma Mangala will be worshiped in her royal form as Rajarajeswari. Independent arrangements have been made for the Netrotsav (ceremonial eye-opening), orderly darshan, fragrance offerings, and security, as informed by Trustee Ankita Anandita.

Since mentally challenged women participate in the Panthai Osha rituals, crowd management is a priority. The local police administration will ensure orderly darshan and traffic arrangements to maintain discipline and safety for devotees.
