Sambalpur, June 22 {UDN}:The eighth annual function of PK Academy Group of Institutes was celebrated at the Radhanath Rath Community Hall.
The program was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shobhamayi Mahapatra, President of the institution. The chief guest was Jarn Suna, Tahasildar of Harainga, while the guests of honor included Ramesh Chandra Jhankar, Vice-Chairman of Navodaya, Jharsuguda, Anil Kulu, BDO of Dhankarda, and the institution’s advisor Sanjit Mahakud.
In his address, Chairman Prakash Dang spoke about the institution’s journey, highlighting how it started on a small scale and, through hard work and perseverance, has grown significantly. He informed the audience that the institution has established two higher secondary colleges during the current academic year.
A total of 40 students who secured more than 80 percent marks in the Class X and Class XII examinations were felicitated. Other meritorious students who excelled in various competitions were also honored with awards.
On the occasion, several distinguished individuals were felicitated, including journalist Gargi Satpathy, Dr. Amar Tandia, head of a service organization, Rajendra Satnami, head of ABCD Charitable Trust, Shishir Bahidar, head of Swabhiman Sambalpur, and Anuj Jena and Srikant Sahu of the voluntary organization Swaichha.
During the second session of the event, students of the institution presented a variety of cultural performances. Several renowned artists also participated in the celebrations and entertained the audience.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the institution’s manager, Dr. Durlabh Bhosagar.
