Bhubaneswar, May 14: Notification issued for Odisha City Gas Distribution (CGD) Policy–2026.
The policy aims to accelerate PNG network expansion and city gas distribution infrastructure across the state.
The notification has been issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department.
Five CGD companies have been authorized to provide connections across all 30 districts of Odisha.
The target includes providing 9 lakh PNG domestic connections and establishing 271 CNG stations.
The Housing and Urban Development Department has been designated as the nodal department for the implementation of the policy.
