Balanga, July 6 {UDN}: A consecration ceremony for the newly constructed temple of the village deity, Maa Mangala, was successfully held at Sandha Goroda village under the Balanga police station limits. The temple was built through the collective efforts and contributions of the villagers.

According to local belief, devotees who offer prayers and perform rituals at the sacred shrine of Maa Mangala with sincere faith have their wishes fulfilled.
On the occasion of the temple consecration, a series of religious rituals, including special worship, Go-Puja (cow worship), Brahmin Homa, and Yajna, were conducted. The ceremonies were performed according to Vedic traditions under the guidance of Pandit Ayodhya Nath Das and his associates.

Village elders Lingaraj Swain, Kalandi Charan Swain, Purnachandra Nanda, Ramachandra Gha, Narahari Swain, Braja Kishore Swain, along with all the villagers, actively participated and extended their support to make the consecration ceremony a grand success.
