Nabarangpur, May 06:: The entire Nabarangpur region echoed with the chanting of “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” during a grand Sankirtan gathering organized by the Shree Jagannath Lok Kala Parishad.
Sankirtan groups from all blocks of Nabarangpur district assembled at the Chaunria Temple in the town. The event was coordinated by parishad members including Ashok Patra, Arjun Bhatra, and Kumud Nayak. Saints, including Abhishek Pathak from Vrindavan, along with several other spiritual leaders, participated in the program.
A massive procession featuring devotional chanting saw around 5,000 devotees march up to the RCD ground. The event witnessed participation from several dignitaries including District Planning Board Chairman Gaurishankar Majhi, social worker Sarbeshwar Patra, Hindu Mahasangh National President Suryabanshi Jayant, Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari, Special Development Council Chairperson Basanti Majhi, Vice-Chairperson Lingaraj Bhatra, senior advocate Narasingha Tripathy, and others.
Organizers stated that more such religious programs will be conducted in the future, along with service activities like Bhagavata Tungi construction and blood donation camps through the Parishad.
