Kotpad, May 15: The inauguration ceremony of Focus Plus was held on Sunday, May 10, at Utkal Fair in Bhubaneswar. Senior journalist Shashi Ranjan attended the event as the chief guest. Among the distinguished guests present were MLA Ashok Mohanty, Pradosh Pattnaik, Safia Firdous, Mimanshi Mallik, A Manvi, and Pradeep Majhi along with several other eminent personalities.
On this occasion, the English magazine Round the Block was also unveiled. Chief Editor Dr. Sudhanshu Sekhar Rout highlighted in his speech the significant role of media and journalism in bringing social change and creating awareness in society.
The event also featured various cultural and colorful entertainment programs. At the conclusion of the ceremony, personalities who had made notable achievements in journalism were honored with awards by the guests present.
Journalists associated with Focus Plus TV from different parts of Odisha attended the program. Journalists from Kotpad, Koraput, Jeypore, and Nabarangpur were also seen participating in the event.
