Bhubaneswar:July 9 [UDN}: The government has implemented free education from Kindergarten (KG) to Postgraduate (PG) level. Admission fees for Higher Secondary (+2), undergraduate, and postgraduate courses have been completely waived. Students who have already taken admission during the current academic year will receive a refund of the fees they paid.
The initiative aims to make education accessible to students from all sections of society. It is expected to reduce the financial burden on parents and guardians. The decision will encourage more students to continue their higher education. The government believes that free education will contribute to the overall development of the state’s education sector.
