Jeypore, May 12: The students of 14 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in Koraput district achieved a remarkable 100Percent pass result in this year’s Matriculation Examination. To celebrate this achievement, the District Education Department felicitated the successful students.
The felicitation programme was organized at the office of the District Project Coordinator. State Girls’ Education Coordinator Lahari Mahanti attended the event as the chief guest and praised the students for their outstanding success. She stated that the KGBV students of Koraput district have brought pride to the district through their excellent academic performance.
Around 2,800 students are studying in the 14 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas of the district. This year, nearly 300 students appeared for the Matriculation Examination. Among them, 1 student secured A2 grade, 15 students obtained B1 grade, 70 students achieved B2 grade, 88 students secured C grade, 99 students obtained D grade, and 27 students passed with E grade.
On this occasion, all the successful students were felicitated with bouquets. The guests encouraged the students to pursue higher education and achieve greater success in life in the coming years.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of District Education Officer Karunakara Bhue. District Girls’ Education Coordinator Shubhendu Kumar Barik conducted the programme. Pedagogy Coordinator Chandrakala Bagarti, along with office staff and headmistresses of various KGBV schools, were also present at the event.
