The party demanded that all paddy produced by farmers who have registered their names should be purchased, and immediate steps should be taken to procure paddy from those farmers who have not yet registered. It also called for stopping unfair deductions (“katni-chatni”) at procurement mandis and ensuring the supply of gunny bags to farmers for paddy sale.
