Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) is hosting a two-day residential Capacity Building Workshop on Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship (IDE) at its Mithapur campus. The programme is being organized by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) for District Education Officers (DEOs) and DIET members.

The workshop aims to enhance the innovation capacity of education leaders by strengthening their exposure to innovation-led learning, design thinking methodologies, and entrepreneurship-driven problem-solving approaches.
Day 1 Highlights
The chief guest for the inaugural day was Mr. Sunil Kumar, Nodal Officer, PM SHRI Schools, Bihar.

Prof. (Dr.) Rana Singh welcomed all attendees, stating:

Innovation in Action – A guided visit to CIMP’s Incubation Centre and Centre of Excellence, offering firsthand exposure to innovation pipelines and entrepreneurial initiatives.
Participants actively engaged throughout the day, discovering practical strategies to integrate innovation into educational practice and to strengthen problem-solving among students.
Day 2 Preview
Day 2 will be graced by Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice-Chairman, AICTE and Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, Government of India. His presence is expected to further enrich discussions around national innovation frameworks and the future of entrepreneurship-led education.
