Kothar,July 15 [UDN}:: An awareness programme was organized at Dhusuri by the State-level Anti-Addiction Organization to spread awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of addiction prevention.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of Rabinarayan Khilar, President of the organization. During the event, the significance of preventing addiction and promoting a healthy lifestyle was highlighted.
Among those present and addressing the gathering were the organization’s Secretary Santosh Das, social workers Prakash Mahanti, Richismita Mahanti, Sangeeta Ram, Sarap Mahanti, district representatives, Secretary Ratikanta Nayak, and members Ananta Sahu and Laxminarayan Mishra, among others.
The speakers emphasized the need for society, especially the younger generation, to remain aware of the harmful effects of addiction and to actively participate in efforts aimed at preventing substance abuse and promoting a drug-free society.
