Bhubaneswar, April 14: 5 kg LPG cylinders will now be available at petrol pumps.
Important announcement made by Supply Minister Krushna Chandra Patra during a press conference.
This facility will be provided under the Central Government’s “Free Trade LPG” scheme.
The cylinders will be supplied by the country’s three major gas companies.
Anyone can purchase these small cylinders by simply showing a valid ID proof.
The price for a new cylinder is ₹1,537, while the refill cost is ₹593.
Refilling will be done only in company-approved cylinders; gas will not be filled in outside or unauthorized tanks.
