Bhubaneswar, Oct 5 [UDN}:A training programme on the ‘Sambandh’ mobile application was organised in the Conference Hall of the Cooperation Department to ensure easy, transparent and hassle-free registration of new members under the ‘Sambandh’ Cooperative Membership Mega Campaign.
All Deputy Registrars of Cooperative Societies (DRCS) and departmental field-level officers participated in the programme virtually. They were provided guidance on the functioning of the mobile application and the steps required to facilitate cooperative membership registration at the grassroots level.
The training focused on strengthening the digital registration process and ensuring that prospective members can be enrolled into the cooperative system in a simple and transparent manner.
The Cooperation Department has emphasised that connecting every rural household with the cooperative movement through digital technology remains one of its key priorities. The ‘Sambandh’ initiative is aimed at expanding cooperative participation at the grassroots by using technology to make membership registration more accessible and efficient.
