Jeypore, Sept 28 [UDN}:: Koraput District Collector today inspected and reviewed the annual activities and overall functioning of the Jeypore Panchayat Samiti. During the visit, the Collector took stock of various development and welfare-oriented works being implemented under the jurisdiction of the Panchayat Samiti.
The Collector reviewed the progress of different ongoing development projects and interacted with block-level officials regarding the implementation of government schemes and programmes. Particular emphasis was laid on ensuring that development works are carried out efficiently and completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Collector directed the concerned block officials to closely monitor the progress of ongoing projects and take necessary steps to accelerate the pace of execution wherever required. Officials were also advised to ensure proper coordination among different departments so that the benefits of government initiatives reach the people without delay.
The inspection was aimed at assessing the ground-level progress of development activities and strengthening the implementation mechanism at the block level. The Collector stressed the need for timely completion, effective supervision and proper utilisation of resources in all development works being undertaken under Jeypore Panchayat Samiti.
Block-level officials and other concerned personnel were present during the inspection and review.
