Ranpur: Sept 22 [UDN}:The foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Primary School was held at Damsahi, with the chief guest performing the traditional Bhumi Pujan ceremony for the proposed school.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest said that quality education is one of the key foundations of a developed Odisha. The proposed Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Primary School is expected to play an important role in translating the vision of strengthening the education system into reality and creating better learning opportunities for children in the area.
The programme was attended by District Education Officer Chittaranjan Pandey, Ranpur Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairman Prabhat Kumar Dalabehera, Damsahi Sarpanch Suneli Dalabehera, the school’s headmaster, president and secretary, Ranpur BJP Rural Mandal president Sushant Behera, Godipadar Sarpanch Antaryami Sahu, Damsahi Panchayat BJP president Chittaranjan Patnaik, Godipadar Mandal BJP president Ranjan Das, along with local leaders, representatives and members of the public.
The foundation-laying ceremony marked an important step towards the establishment of the new model primary school, which is envisioned as an institution contributing to improved educational infrastructure and learning opportunities for children in the locality.
