Bhubaneswar, Sept. 8 (UDN): The Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS), Government of Odisha, accorded a warm send-off to the Asian Games 2026 athletics campers at the airport on Tuesday as they departed for the prestigious continental event.

Additional Secretary B. K. Swain was present at the airport to encourage the athletes and convey the department’s best wishes ahead of the competition.
Interacting with the contingent, Swain expressed confidence in the athletes’ abilities and wished them success at the Games. He also encouraged them to deliver memorable performances and make the country proud on the Asian stage.
The send-off reflects the Odisha government’s continued commitment to supporting athletes and strengthening the state’s sporting ecosystem as they prepare to compete at one of Asia’s biggest multi-sport events.
