Cow Shelters to Be Set Up Every 100 Km Along Roads to Prevent Accidents as Stray Cattle Are Removed from National Highways

Bhubaneswar, Aug 12 [UDN}:Joint action: The Transport Department, NHAI and Animal Resources Development Department will work together.
Cattle relocation: The Transport Department will shift stray cattle from roads.
One gaushala every 100 km: A cow shelter will be established along roadsides at every 100-km interval.
Maintenance: The Animal Resources Development Department will be responsible for maintenance, while local SPs will monitor the facilities.
Gaushalas in every block: The government is planning to establish cow shelters in every block, said the Animal Resources Development Minister.
