Bhubaneswar, July 11 [UDN}: Rath Yatra 2026: A high-level coordination meeting on security arrangements for the festival was held at the State Police Headquarters under the chairmanship of Director General of Police Yogesh Bahadur Khurania. The meeting focused on ensuring comprehensive security measures for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the world-famous Rath Yatra. Officials reviewed crowd management strategies, traffic regulation plans, and emergency response mechanisms. Representatives from various departments participated in the discussions to strengthen inter-agency coordination. Special attention was given to the deployment of personnel, surveillance systems, and public safety measures during the festival. The state administration reaffirmed its commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for millions of devotees visiting Puri during the grand event. The efforts are being coordinated closely with Odisha Police to ensure seamless execution of the security plan.
