Essential Water Well Repair Materials Delivered to Panchayat

Maidulpur: Water well repair materials have arrived at Maidulpur Panchayat in Papdahandi Block, Maidulpur. Following this, the administration has become active in resolving the water crisis. Officials have assured that the region’s drinking water problem will soon be resolved.

Maidulpur has been facing an acute drinking water crisis. Last Thursday, a report was published in Prameya titled “No Materials, No Repairs—Four Wells Non-Functional, Severe Water Crisis in Old Maidulpur.” After the publication of this report, the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Department took immediate action. The department has now sent water well repair materials to the Panchayat office.

First Preparatory Meeting for World-Famous Rath Yatra Held Successfully

Puri: The world-famous Rath Yatra in Puri is set to take place on June 27 this year. To ensure a well-organized and disciplined event, the first preparatory meeting was held today at the DGP’s camp office in Bhubaneswar under the chairmanship of the Director General of Police (DGP) of the state, Shri Yogesh Bahadur Khurania.

In light of the anticipated large crowd and challenges faced in previous years, the DGP instructed senior police officials to begin extensive preparations well in advance. The rituals of Lord Jagannath will be observed on various dates following temple traditions. Millions of devotees from across India and abroad are expected to gather in Puri for the occasion. Additionally, several distinguished personalities are likely to attend the Rath Yatra.

During the meeting, several key topics were discussed in detail, including:

Installation of CCTV cameras from Uttara Chhak to Puri

Effective traffic management

Measures to prevent issues like fraudulent touting
Arrangements for vehicle parking

Dedicated helipads for VIPs

Special accommodations for police forces

Systematic chariot pulling

Barricading arrangements

Coordination with district administration for swift issue resolution

Structured arrangements for hassle-free darshan by devotees
